GCHB Silvani Voici Treading The Shadows FCAT

Ghost was my first homebred champion, grand champion, and FCAT! Once he got over his bratty teenager stage, he was a blast to show. Elegant, sound, and with a happy attitude in the ring. Even as a senior dog, he’s still handsome and athletic. At 11 years old, his effortless jump onto the exam table at the 2024 National Specialty elicited an all-around gasp from the spectators! One person commented, “He just levitated!”
Ghost is a sensitive soul. He doesn’t understand that he’s bigger than the other iggies and gets very sad when they get mad at him for stepping on them when trying to snuggle. He think’s he’s still a tiny puppy, so how could his snuggles hurt? He’s always the one who thinks he’s in trouble, even when he’s not. He’s smart, but not overly driven to learn new things. He prefers his life to be simple and straightforward! He’s not one for rough play with humans, like when your hand “attacks” his face. However, he does love it when you pretend to viciously chew on his neck, but his full body happy wiggles can practically break your nose, so beware!
Ghost’s passion in life is chasing the “bunny”! Before Covid lockdown hit, he was the top ranked IG in FastCat racing. His top recorded speed was 30mph! Now that he’s getting older, he’s surprised when he’s sore the day after racing or playing hard. Not that that matters, he still wants to GO FAST! That’s when I have to step in as the adult here (because, you know, he’s still a puppy according to him!) and make him take it easy for a bit.
Ghost sired some lovely pups over the years, some of whom have their own pages on this website. He’s neutered and retired from racing, showing, and breeding now. His full-time occupation now is chasing things at home (lunge whip, laser pointer, drone, Owni, etc), snuggling, and making me laugh!
Ghost is co-owned with Layle Griffioen (Voici IGs)
